Hello, I’m Sally and I have been around animals since I was a small child.  I have shared my home with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens, chinchillas, rabbits and bees. I always enjoy learning new things and have completed courses for Beekeeping and Animal First Aid at Hartpury College as well as attending obedience classes with my dogs up to Kennel Club Gold.
As well as being a qualified teacher, I am also studying a foundation degree in Canine Behavioural Management and continually update my knowledge on training my dogs using positive reward through the brilliant sessions I attend regularly with Gwen Bailey and Puppy School.

I am also qualified with the School of Canine Science to deliver Scentwork courses and be a Blue Level Judge for competitions.
I share my home with my husband Mark and our two dogs.  Harry our Golden Retriever came along in 2014. He runs the show and has gone from being pesky little brother to annoyed big brother, having been ousted as cute puppy by younger brother Milo who arrived in 2016. Milo is a bright and mischievous Golden Retriever who keeps us on our toes and has taught me so much more about behaviour and training.
In our home animals come first, ask any of our friends who try to find a space on the sofa !
I love training and to be able to pass on the knowledge I have gained to enable positive relationships between dogs and their owners through the use of positive rewards and fun learning environments.

Thank you Sally for all your help, advice and encouragment.  Teddy is missing you already ...or is it your chicken treats

Superb! Cannot recommend Puppy School with Harrys Hounds enough.  Enjoyable and excellent clear tuition.  Lyra loved every week and learned so much and so did we.
