Does your dog need a low impact but highly effective way of using their brain and that amazing sense of smell ?

The Introduction course teaches you how to uses a cue to get your dog to search methodically, Introduces you to the scent of Gunoil and shows you how to develop a beginning behaviour for their 'Indication' and includes videos and notes

 

Progression in Scentwork classes

Having completed an Introduction course your dog should now be understanding the cue to search and will have been working on being 'conditioned' to the scent of gun oil whilst you have learned to watch their body language and start to understand when they are near the target scent, as well as building up an Indication.  On this course we put all of those skills together and teach you more about reading your dog and the importance of timing in the use of rewards

 

Monthly Scentwork club

Various 2 hour sessions available - locations vary

£40 per session

 

A fun and social way for your dogs to continue their Scentwork Journey at a variety of locations.  These sessions will include Interior Searches, Exterior Searches and Vehicles and will work on each individual dogs development through feedback and support.  Groups are limited to 5 - BUT all dogs work independently

 

National Nosework Association ORT and Scentwork Trials-

An Odour Recognition Test (ORT) is required at each level in order to compete with the NNA.  Our session include some training and then the test under conditions required by the NNA

​

As an Approved Judge for the NNA we will offer Trials at various levels and these will also be advertised on the NNA Website.
